Baiardo Wedding

Ali's and Phil's wedding officially marks the end of my wedding season this year! Generally, I have weddings going on into November, but my first baby is due at the end of the month and this 9 month pregnant wedding planner is ready for a break!

What an incredible wedding to end the 2012 season! Referred to as "Bride-Chilla" by her Maid of Honor, Ali was so laid back and easy going during the whole wedding planning process. And Phil could not have been any sweeter... what a wonderful couple to work with!

Ali and Phil hosted their friends and family at the Flying Caballos Ranch in San Luis Obispo, CA on Sunday, September 2, 2012. Eric Krebs, a photographer from Seattle, was there to capture the beautiful day and did a phenomenal job! Panacea decked out the ceremony aisle, bridal party, and reception tables with beautiful designs that complemented the venue perfectly. Guests dined on the tasty creations of Trumpet Vine Catering and danced the night away to the music stylings of Joe LaBarbera. It was such a lovely day and a fabulous way to celebrate Labor Day Weekend!

Congratulations to Ali and Phil... as two beautiful families became one this past weekend!

Walker Wedding

Kaleigh and Russell decided to host their wedding weekend in the beautiful Paso Robles wine country. The day before their wedding, they invited all 155 guests to celebrate as they embarked on an all-day wine tasting tour followed by a beautiful rehearsal dinner at Still Waters Vineyard. For their wedding celebration, they chose to say "I Do" at the the historic Santa Margarita Ranch in Santa Margarita, CA on August 11, 2012.

The intimate ceremony took place in the Estrada Garden followed by the cocktail reception. The garden was decked out with vintage furniture provided by Forever Vintage Rentals, accented with personal touches from the bride and groom. As a tribute to their families, a table was set up displaying framed photos of Kaleigh and Russell's family members. While some guests enjoyed a train ride around the property of the ranch, others had the option of playing a game of corn hole.

Guests were greeted with champagne as they entered the historic barn for the dinner reception. The bridal party sat at one long table that ran down the center of the barn surrounded by round tables filled with friends and family members. The tables were adorned with gorgeous blooms by April Flowers and handmade table numbers created by the bride. For dinner, guests started with a local Tomato Caprese Salad followed with their choice of Five Spiced Rubbed Port Tenderloin or Wild Coho Salmon prepared by Trumpet Vine Catering. The Cakery did a phenomenal job on Kaleigh and Russell's beautiful 3-tier wedding cake which sat on a vintage table in front of a handmade fabric garland that the bride created. As the sun began to set, Jen of Jen Rodriguez Photography whisked Kaleigh and Russell away for some romantic photos in the surrounding fields of the ranch. Selah Video Productions was also there to capture the immense beauty of the couple and the entire wedding day. The bride and groom, along with all their guests danced the night away as Kramer Entertainment rocked the dance floor with the crowds' favorite tunes.

Congratulations to the Walkers...thank you so much for letting us be part of your beautiful day!

MacDonald Wedding

Erin & Bradley contacted me shortly after they found my wedding featured online and decided that the Flying Caballos Ranch was the perfect spot to celebrate their love and marriage. I worked with the couple for almost a year in planning and designing their intimate romantic wedding set for June 16, 2012. Working with Erin & Bradley was like a dream come true for any wedding planner. Together, they both had so many great ideas of how they envisioned their wedding day, but at the same time were open to all my ideas and expertise in planning weddings at the ranch. This was actually the first time that I had more contact with the groom than the bride through the planning process. It was so nice to see a groom take interest in planning the wedding vs. just saying "whatever she wants."

Majority of Erin & Bradley's family and guests are from Boston and the New York area and had never attended a wedding like this before. Erin informed me that most east coast weddings they had been to were very formal and generally took place at a country club, hotel, or banquet room. I had so many guests come up to me to tell me what an amazing and creative wedding this was and that they had never experienced anything like it. They were blown away by the intimate spiral ceremony set-up as the bride and groom read each other their own vows, the train cruising along behind the ranch, the amount of birds flying around the property, the local jams rocked by Dan Curcio, and the bonfire where they roasted marshmallows to make s'mores.

My go-to photographer, Jonathan Roberts of Bluephoto Photography did a phenomenal job on Erin & Bradley's wedding photos and video and captured the emotion of the day perfectly! Nikki from Flowers by FluidBloom designed the gorgeous blooms for the wedding ceremony and reception. Guests dined family-style on a delicious meal of local cod and top sirloin prepared by Trumpet Vine Catering. Rentals for this wedding were provided by All About Tabletops, Party Partners Rentals, and Rhone Rentals.

Thank you Erin & Bradley for letting Matt and me be a part of your wedding weekend. We had such a good time working with the two of you and meeting all your friends and family. We wish you all the best as you continue your lives as husband and wife!
