Hames Wedding

Dana and Curtis got married on July 21, 2012 at a private estate surrounded by almond orchards and grape vines in Chico, CA. They did a wonderful job in creating and designing their beautiful wedding and I was honored when they asked me to serve as their Day-of Coordinator.  Working on this wedding was especially meaningful to me as Curtis is my brother-in-law and I now have a wonderful sister-in-law!

The color palette of purples, golds, and sage completed the natural beauty of the estate. Dana's bridesmaids got to select their own dresses, each in a different shade of purple. Curtis' groomsmen wore tan suits from Men's Warehouse with lavender dress shirts and gold ties. Cambray Rose Florist did a phenomenal job on the gorgeous bouquets and unique boutonnieres.

After the wedding ceremony, guests found their table assignments written on a vintage window. The tables were adorned with white linens, eclectic mismatched china, authentic vintage silverware, and mason drinking jars provided by Rhone Rentals. The table numbers along with the burlap and purple lace table overlays were made by the mother of the groom, Lynn. She and Dana collected all the unique vases that were filled with beautiful blooms by Cambray Rose Florist from swap meets and thrifts stores throughout the year before the wedding. As a favor, guests took home a custom monogrammed bag of coffee beans that said "Let Love Brew."

For dinner, guests dined on a delicious buffet of tri-tip and chicken prepared by Chico Catering Company followed by two different flavors of cake created by Mim's Bakery. Jade and the Decent Men rocked the mic as everyone danced the night away. Guests had a blast dressing up and taking photos in the Snapshots Photo Booth, which also served as the wedding guest book. Chris of Chris Shepard Photography was there to document the stunning day.

Congratulations Dana and Curtis...love you both!
