Lee Wedding

Christine and Bernard got married on March 21, 2015 at the beautifully unique El Capitan Canyon Resort in Goleta, CA. They got engaged here on New Year's Eve and spent several months looking for the perfect venue. When they heard that El Capitan Canyon had a last minute cancelation, they decided to go for it and that's when I received the phone call to plan their wedding in four short weeks! I have never planned a wedding this quickly, but I couldn't be more happy with the way everything and everyone came together to pull off this gorgeous wedding for this lovely couple!

The El Capitan Canyon Resort served as the perfect location to host all 140 of their guests. The ceremony took place up on the Safari Bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The Organic String Quartet played as guests enjoyed the view before the ceremony. TOASTsb did an incredible job on creating natural wild florals to fit the elegant rustic vibe of the venue. Guests dined at wood picnic tables adorned with natural linen runners, wild flower blooms in mason jars, and votives on wooden rounds while Society Jazz rocked the night away with their sweet tunes. After dinner, guests enjoyed an array of delicious cupcakes and chocolate covered strawberries from Crushcakes. As night fell, the bonfire roared and guests gathered around for a campfire sing-along and s'mores. And last but not least, my favorite photographer and good friend Jonathan of Bluephoto Wedding Photography was there to document the entire day with these gorgeous photos and video!

Congrats Christine and Bernard... it was such a pleasure working with the two of you, even though it was only for a couple of weeks! Wishing you guys all the best as you start your new lives as husband and wife!

  1. Very well said!! It’s such a gorgeous location for a wedding. You know I also booked in very short time San Diego Wedding venues for my sister wedding, and luckily everyone just loved the venue location and it was a perfect day for everyone.
